Do press-fit tools need a hot works permit?

No. Press fitting is a flameless jointing method, which is one of its main advantages on sites where hot works permits and fire watches would otherwise be required.

Do I need a trade account to hire a press fitting tool in Edinburgh?

No. No trade account, no credit checks, no applications. Browse the catalogue, pick your dates, and pay online. We deliver to your site.

Do you offer weekend delivery for press fitting tool hire in Edinburgh?

Saturday delivery is available from most partner depots serving Edinburgh. Availability depends on the depot and equipment type, so check at checkout.

Is damage protection included with press fitting tool hire in Edinburgh?

Yes. Standard damage cover is included. It reduces the £1,700 claim excess by £50 on accidental damage during hire. You could still pay up to £1,650 if the machine is damaged. Upgrade at checkout to lower that cap, or to Premium for the first £200.
