What is Hire Shield?
Hire Shield is a damage waiver that provides peace of mind during your hire period. It's not an insurance product, but rather a waiver by National Tool Hire of its right to claim from you the full cost of repairs for accidental damage up to £500 per item.

Subrogation waiver for high-value equipment
Hire Shield Premium is a subrogation waiver that prevents our hired-in plant insurers from seeking compensation directly from you for accidental damage. This is particularly important for high-value equipment where insurers might otherwise pursue recovery actions.
