Tool Hire

Tool hire in Edinburgh

Reliable tool and equipment hire in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Whether you're a tradesperson, contractor, or tackling a DIY project, we offer a wide range of high-quality tools and building equipment.

Edinburgh is built on volcanic geology, the Castle Rock, Arthur's Seat, and Calton Hill are all volcanic plugs, which means excavation in the city centre hits basalt and dolerite quickly. The New Town and Old Town World Heritage Site imposes stringent conservation requirements. Housing expansion is pushed to South Queensferry, Craigmillar, and the Granton waterfront brownfield.

Tenement stair repairs and stone cleaning in Marchmont and Bruntsfield. Lime mortar repointing on Georgian ashlar facades. Cement mortar is prohibited in conservation areas. New-build housing phases at Granton Waterfront and Edinburgh Park. Festival infrastructure installations requiring rapid temporary works.

Controlled parking zones across most of the city centre. Festival month (August) makes city centre delivery extremely difficult. Many tenement properties have no off-street parking or storage.
