Lighting Tower Hire Across the UK

Lighting a site properly

A standard 4-head LED tower light illuminates roughly 4,000–5,000 square metres depending on mast height and how the heads are angled. Multiple towers can be linked and staggered around the perimeter for larger sites, event venues, or car parks rather than relying on a single unit to cover everything.

Diesel lighting towers typically run 60–80 hours on a full tank, and LED heads draw significantly less fuel than older metal halide lamps for the same light output. Automatic dusk-to-dawn sensors switch the tower off during daylight, which both saves fuel and removes unnecessary running hours from the generator.

On sites near residential areas, position towers to avoid light spill into neighbouring windows, and consider noise from the diesel generator overnight, some hire partners offer quieter or hybrid units where noise restrictions apply.
