Diesel lighting towers typically run 60–80 hours on a full tank, and LED heads draw significantly less fuel than older metal halide lamps for the same light output. Automatic dusk-to-dawn sensors switch the tower off during daylight, which both saves fuel and removes unnecessary running hours from the generator.
