This dust unit designed for use in conjunction with a cut off saw uses a pressurised water system to create a simple, cost-effective method of reducing the amount of airborne dust produced by a cut off saw. As one person operates the saw, another operates the dust units water pump, which is easily connected to the saw. The water is pumped to the source of the dust, as the blade cuts through the material, suppressing the dust and preventing it from becoming airborne. This drastically improves the health and safety credentials of the work zone, as the risk of inhaling harmful dust is dramatically reduced.
