This large, vacant space allows the garden vacuum to cover as much surface area as possible, and it also prevents the machine from clogging up easily. Inside the machine, the powerful blades reduce any soft materials like leaves, twigs, paper, etc., that are sucked up. This feature turns the garden waste into compacted mulch which is easier to dispose and convenient for compost heaps. There is also a 2 inch chipper at the side of the unit.
