The floor sander performs excellently over large open areas of floorboards, but it is too large to get near to the edges and skirting for the perfect professional finish. This is where a floor edge sander comes in. They get in closer to surfaces, leaving just a 10-15mm gap so that you can give your floors consistent, high-quality sanding. Disc floor sanders are suitable for various hard and soft wooden flooring. Floor edging sanders are lightweight and compact pieces of equipment. They are easy to handle so that you can get excellent floor sanding results without any previous experience. They feature wheel castors that make it easy to push them along and change direction quickly. An ABS disc guard prevents damage to mouldings and skirting during use, and a high powered vacuum system collects dust as you go, perfect for domestic and commercial jobs. Please note: We recommend using the larger Floor Sander machine before using a Floor Edging Sander. The Floor Sander allows you to sand large open areas of wooden floorboards, and then the Edging Sander will enable you to finish the job by getting nearer to the skirting, where the larger machine cannot reach. Using both of these machines together allows you to complete the job correctly and achieve the most professional finish. We offer a Floor Sander Hire Package that gives you both machines together at a reduced rate compared to hiring separately. Please ensure that the sanding plate that holds down the sanding sheet is fully screwed before operating the machine. Failure to do so can result in damage to the machine or the floor.
