To use this manual concrete float, simply push or pull the float across wet concrete, for a smooth surface. Lower the brush and pull it along the surface for a textured finish. The zinc-plated steel blade is designed with curved edges to prevent it from digging into the concrete and causing lap marks. Using a concrete brush to leave a textured finish on a slab is ideal for use on driveways, walkways, staircases, patios, industrial floors and other areas with a lot of foot traffic. The rough texture of brushed concrete offers better traction for pedestrians to walk safely and reduces the risk of slips and falls when the floor is wet.
