They have a pressed steel outer casing and a cast aluminium pump stand, which provide protection from knocks and bumps on site. They feature a robust rubber pump chamber and a urethane vortex impeller, which provide great resistance to wear when pumping water containing sand and silt. Our puddle pumps also have a swing check valve that prevents back flow of water from the discharge hose, and a dual position outlet port that allows the outlet hose to be set horizontally or vertically and avoid it kinking.
