Building Dryer for Flood Recovery & Decorating

These 12-litre dehumidifiers are robust and efficient units designed for removing moisture from the air and surrounding structures. Ideal for drying rooms following a leak, flood or decorating work, these 240v and 110v dehumidifiers work by drawing air in from the space, passing it through a filter and over some cold coils. The cold coils cause the air to reach dew point so that the moisture in the air condenses into a liquid. The dry air is then warmed and blown back out of the dehumidifier. These units typically extract up to 12 litres over 24 hours.

Aside from the drying benefits of using these dehumidifiers, they also help promote a good, healthy living or working environment by preventing the build-up of fungus and rot that could be caused if the air, walls and floors within a space remain damp for too long. This unforced drying process also gives a much more high-quality finish to freshly painted or plastered surfaces, as it removes the risk of warping and cracking that heating the space can cause.
