It was so easy to get a quote, and I was notified in good time who the supplier was going to be along with their delivery time. I would definitely use them again as it saves hunting through different suppliers, as they do all the work for you.
Very easy tower scaffolding to assemble. Comes with all the platforms and support sections for safety. Great service from Mammoth Hire. Ordered online. Delivery and collection was smooth. Great coms.
Great service. Thank you
I waited in all day on Tuesday but it never arrived. I left a message to that effect on Tuesday evening with an automatic reply stating they would get in touch with in 24 hours. No reply within 24 hours so I sent another email late Wed afternoon. This time I did get an apology and a promise that it would be delivered before 1200 hours the following day as requested. I also insisted that I would not return it until the following Monday as I had effectively lost 1 1/2 days. The actual tower was fine and served my purpose but not delivering it on the day I requested was very poor and the fact that I had to chase it twice was unsatisfactory.
Good kit supported by well managed service/delivery
Delivered on time and very helpful driver
the equipment was two days late and collection though booked has still not happened causing us to loose time being on site awaiting a collection that has not happened
The other item was a 5.2m tower scaffold. I wanted the type with internal sloping ladders as shown on the web site and didn't get that. Enquires I submitted were answered but in a very clunky way with individual tickets for each enquire, i.e. the lenght of the ladder and the internal ladders. The lenght was confirmed within 24 hrs but the reply for the tower said I had the internal laddes, which I did but it was a vertical continuos ladder, not what I expected. No instructions came with it. The plain plateform had damage to one of its 'hooks' making it very, very difficult to assemble. The single operator who delivered it was very civil, on time and was very diligent in his work and very helpful with tips on instructions. It was also a shame that the first and last day, when you have no idea how long you have it for is charged. A half day window would at least allow a bit more planning and control of costs. Overall, the service was 'satisfactory' but someone at the end of phone would have been great. Alan.
