Engine Hoist Hire 1T or 2T Capacity Engine Cranes Engine hoists, also known as engine cranes or floor cranes, are industry standard pieces of equipment for lifting engines out of and into vehicles, and moving them safely around a garage. They can also be used for lifting, moving and lowering a range of other heavy loads, such as workshop equipment. We have engine cranes available with either 1 tonne or 2 tonne lifting capacity. They feature a three-position extendible jib, fitted with a handle and a solid lifting hook, to facilitate easy positioning of the load. The hydraulic operation of these floor cranes allows heavy loads to be lifted and lowered quickly and easily. Despite their heavy duty capabilities, these engine cranes are also extremely convenient. The tough, hard-wearing polyamide wheels and castors allow excellent manoeuvrability as well as quiet and smooth operation - so the load can be positioned wherever it is needed quickly and precisely. These floor cranes can also be folded down for easy transportation and storage.
