Heater Hire Across the UK

Choosing a heater that's safe for the space

Diesel indirect heaters push out fume-free hot air through ducting and are the right choice for enclosed construction sites where carbon monoxide build-up would be a risk. Direct gas and diesel heaters burn fuel in the airstream itself, which is fine in well-ventilated marquees and warehouses, but should never be used in a sealed room.

Electric heaters need no fuel handling and produce no combustion fumes, making them the simplest option where a suitable power supply exists, but on larger sites the available electrical capacity is often the limiting factor rather than the heater's output rating.

Sizing is roughly proportional to room volume and how well insulated or draughty the space is. A 3kW electric heater might suit a small enclosed office, while an uninsulated warehouse or open marquee in winter can need output in the tens of kW to hold a working temperature.
