- Do I need water for diamond core drilling?
- Wet cutting is recommended for anything beyond light-duty holes as it keeps the diamond bit cool and clears slurry, extending bit life. Dry diamond bits are available where water access is not practical.
- How do I know if there are cables or pipes where I want to drill?
- Always scan the area with a cable, pipe, and rebar detector before coring. We can advise on hiring detection equipment alongside your core drill.
