Decorating Equipment Hire Across the UK

Sequencing a decorating or renovation job

Structural work always comes first, acrow props go in before a wall removal starts, and only come out once the permanent lintel or beam is installed and cured. Skipping straight to decorating equipment without this step in place is how cracks and settling problems appear months later.

Surface preparation makes more difference to the final finish than the paint or coating itself, a floor sander stripping back old varnish or a surface preparation tool keying a concrete floor both create a surface that new coatings can actually bond to, rather than sitting on top and failing early.

Paint sprayers cut coverage time dramatically on large wall and ceiling areas compared to roller and brush, but they need more preparation, masking off areas you do not want covered takes longer than with a roller, so sprayers earn their keep most clearly on bigger jobs like whole-room repaints or exterior fencing.
