Everything you need to know about Bostik Rapid Set Cement 5kg
Description
Who the 5kg Pack Suits
The 5kg pack sits between the 2.5kg and 10kg sizes of Bostik rapid set cement. It's the one to pick when you have a short list of jobs: two or three holes in a path, a couple of post brackets and a step edge, or a repair you expect to need more than one batch for. Compare the price per kilo on each size before you choose.
Planning a Few Jobs from One Pack
- List the jobs and prepare all of them first, so each batch goes straight in.
- Do the smallest repair first to get a feel for how fast it stiffens, then move on to the larger ones.
- Mix a fresh batch for each job rather than one big mix.
- Use the water amount and set times printed on the pack, as they aren't listed on this page yet.
Keeping the Rest for Later
- Close the pack tightly or tip what's left into an airtight tub straight after use.
- Store it somewhere dry and off cold floors.
- If the powder has gone hard or lumpy, don't use it for fixings.
